- Work in the moment. While doing housework, put on music you love, burn those wonderful candles and insense, and stay in the moment of the chore. Don't think about how cleaning sucks.
- Concentrate cleaning just one room a day. Then, instead of having all rooms half cleaned you can have one room that's REALLY clean. Then everyday alternate rooms, by the time the room you started with is getting pretty bad you can just clean it up again. (This does't apply to the kitchen and one bathroom. You still may have to clean these rooms daily depending on the germ and dirt factors for that day.)
- Declutter and simplify. Your child doesn't need 30 pairs of pants, 90 t-shirts and 50 pairs of underwear, ok now let's discuss you...Seriously, this will cut down on laundry A LOT! Hate Dusting? Just get rid of everything that has the capacity to collect dust. Now, doesn't that make things easier?
